The Publishing House of Wrocław University of Economics & Business began operations in 1955.
The aim of the WUEB Publishing House is to popularise research results, as well as the intellectual and scientific research achievements of the academic staff of both Polish and international universities, whilst maintaining the highest substantive and editorial standards of its publications.
The scope of the subjects explored in our publications ranges from economics and finance, management and quality sciences, and technology of food and nutrition. Over a hundred titles are published every year, mostly monographs, academic textbooks and notes, and scientific journals, whilst the series entitled Debiuty Studenckie is addressed to student research clubs.
In all our publications, the Publishers follow the established procedures of reviewing scientific work together with the principles of editorial ethics, in line with the directives set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), in order to prevent any dishonest publishing practices.
The WUEB Publishing House was awarded 80 points for the publication of monographs – according to the Communique of the Minister for Science and Education dated 22 July 2021 concerning the list of publishers of reviewed scientific monographs.

The activity of the Publishing House follows the concept of open science. The publications are deposited in our repository, and all the journals are available in accordance with the policy of open access.
We make every effort to ensure that the books we publish present a high level of content and editing. An experienced and proven editorial team provides careful linguistic, stylistic and editorial development, individual interior and cover design, professional computer typesetting and formatting, and proofreading.
Our publications have frequently received awards in competitions organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Polish Economic Society, The National Bank of Poland, and the Association of University Presses.
We offer our publications in scientific bookstores throughout the country, and we cooperate with the ibuk.pl online reading room and the ebookpoint platform. We sell by mail order through our online bookstore www.ksiegarnia.ue.wroc.pl .
