The Publishing House of Wrocław University of Economics & Business began operations in 1955.
The goal of the Publishing House of WUEB is to disseminate the results of research, scientific and intellectual achievements of employees of Polish and foreign universities, while maintaining the highest substantive and editorial level of publications.
The scope of our publications falls within the scientific disciplines of economics and finance, management and quality sciences, and food and nutrition technology. We publish more than 100 titles annually. These are mainly monographs, academic textbooks, scripts and scientific journals. The Student Debuts series is aimed at student research clubs.
For all publications, we follow established procedures for reviewing scientific works and publishing ethics, in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), to prevent unfair publishing practices.
UEW Publishing House received 80 points for the publication of the monograph – according to the Announcement of the Ministry of Education and Science of July 22, 2021. On the list of publishing houses that publish peer-reviewed scientific monographs.

In the activities of the Publishing House, we implement the concept of open science. Our publications are deposited in a repository, and all journals are made available in accordance with the open access policy.
We make every effort to ensure that the books we publish present a high level of content and editing. An experienced and proven editorial team provides careful linguistic, stylistic and editorial development, individual interior and cover design, professional computer typesetting and formatting, and proofreading.
Our publications have won awards in competitions organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Polish Economic Society, the National Bank of Poland, the Association of Publishers of Higher Education Schools, and Magiel – Independent Monthly Magazine of SGH Students.
We offer our publications in scientific bookstores throughout the country, and we cooperate with the ibuk.pl online reading room and the ebookpoint platform. We sell by mail order through our online bookstore www.ksiegarnia.ue.wroc.pl .
